The engine has begun to stall as I'm driving, usually highway, and seems to happen as I'm decelerating. The RPM drops to 0, doors lock & unlock, electrical warning light indicator activates, lose power steering. An aftermarket programmer, Hypertech, used mainly to compensate for slightly larger tires (33"), that also required a 3" body lift, indicated the above error codes. The programmer allows me to reset the codes and the vehicle runs perfectly.
Should I change the sensor myself? If I do will I have to do a Crankshaft Variation Relearn? Should I have someone check the wiring and ECM with diagnostic tools?
