When I left to run errands today the AC was working fine. After the first stop, I got back in and it was blowing warm air. I was never able to get it to blow cool air again. Any ideas whats wrong?

Not to sound like a dumb girl, but low and high pressures of what? Are you refering to having the ac on with the control?

My 2002 Tahoe is doing same thing. Compressor & clutch working fine. Small tube is ice cold but not freezinf. Freon gauge reads full. Had water in cargo area but after finding clogged drain and cleaning out, that problem is solved. Could there be another clogged drain causing my problem?

2001 chevy tahoe, having some ac issues system blowing warm air.I thought it might be the temp control switch but it was fine cable was good and the door under the dash was closing and sealing. But the other day i was checking the condenser for anything blocking it from getting air it was fine, then I started it up and now the compressor is not engaging and I want to put freon in it.So here is my question I know you can manually use a fused jumper wire by taking the ac relay out and running a hot from battery to a connection where relay is I need to know which one it is this truck has automatic climate control does anybody know? I do not have a manual

Hey thanks again but really what I need to know is I have to have that clutch engaged as I am adding the freon right, and I wanted to know if you knew what terminal it would be where the relay goes so I can run a jumper wire from there to the battery,so I can get the clutch engaged manually.I would appreciate it I don't have a manual for this truck.Thank you again

if you start to put the Freon in it may allow you to engage the clutch so it will take the rest in. the amound should have a sticker on the radiator if you need to jump it use the pressure switch on the accumaltor, but you probably won't as it fills or even with the first can sending pressure in it wil problably work. You really shouldn't do this though as it may only last a day or two anyhow.

The compressor went out so i put a new one in then i refilled with r-134 and it started working fine one to two days later and the A/C clutch will not kick on anymore have done this twice. Now i went to add some more cause it stopped again and the gauge says the Freon is full but it will not turn on. any ideas on what this is the A/C is blowing hot air? before i changed the compressor out i changed the orifices in front and back of the vehicle so i would not think those are plugged.

If the compressor shelled out and locked up, you may have debris in the lines.

Inspecting the first orifice in line may confirm this.

Hello,

I would use a test light and check for power at the compressor clutch.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

This will let you know if the clutch coil is not working correctly or if there is some other problem we can hunt down.

Please run this test and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Cheers, Ken

Look for the BLUE cap on the accumulator on the right side of the inner fender.

the correct fitting should have a blue cap, the red one is always the wrong one, so what ever color is the other one then that will be the correct one, because sometimes it will be black

The other thing is these recharge cans only fit the LOW side, it is larger in diameter than the high side, also charge with the can upright ONLY, or system damage can occur...

You really don't want to just arbitrarily add that junk to your system without knowing what the current level is or what additives and sealers that have been added to that can. You can easily ruin the whole system using those cans when you don't know what you're doing.

My Air works fine and then it will change and blow hot air for a while then switch back to cold air. Never know when this is going to happen and it is happening more often. What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Bob

Could be freezing up due to air and moisture forming into ice and blocking off the orifice tube-try having it vacuumed
