My Tahoe will not come out of park when the engine is hot. Is there something I can do to repair this problem?

Get the shift interlock system checked out-

Im sure you have this item i have on mine,
Under the dash above the breaks there is a pressure
item release for the break to tell the shifter its ok now
to switch to a different gear.
Iv noticed ONLY after i drove it, it will do this!
What i did was noticed this item, Held the breaks in
for uh, 20 seconds or more THEN tried the shifter.
If thats not it, might wanna check the linkage on
the shifter to trans.. But if it dont do this on cold
start up, then look for the break shifter release .
