2000 Chevy Tahoe starting

I have trouble getting truck to start after it sets .sometimes it even runs battery dead before it will crank up . when I get it started and drive a bit then it will start up fine . but let it set a day or so and almost impossible to start up. thanks

Welcome to the forum, if you have the spider fuel system, there is a bulletin about this problem. A cleaning procedure for the fuel poppets might help. In the bulletin, the procedure is a shop procedure. I don't know if injector cleaner in the gas will help? Also, you can use a gage and check fuel pressure.
