2000 Chevy Tahoe Replacing a gas pump

How do I replace a gas pump on this Tahoe. Do I have to drop the drive line completely?

you might have to drop the driveshaft to get teh tank out. then you'll have to get the pump out and replace the fuel filter while you are at it.
