how do i reset my computer, without scan m

i want to reset my computer, i don't have a scan tool and can't afford one. can i push a button on my computer?

Go to autozone. They will scan your computer and clear the trouble codes for free..
If you need the PCM flashed , that is a whole different operation that will require more than just a scan tool.
Just disconnecting the battery wont work, the computer stores the codes.

pull off the neg battery termanial wait twenty min, put back on,neg termanial----computer will reboot
