Drove 198 miles today, pulled back in my driveway, shut vehicle off and there it sits. Will not start and fuel pump is not engaging. We replaced the fuel pump 8 months ago after it acted up for a few days then quit. This time I got no warning at all before it quit. I have to admit that it was getting low on gas, but should a fuel pump go out in less than 8 months or could it be something else?

Make sure you aren't out of gas...don't laugh I see it more than I should.

Depending on the brand It wouldn't surprise me. I only use delphi or delco pumps on these because of that reason.

I think there was a connector issue on those for the pump as well.
