1999 CHEV TAHOE 169175 MILES--brakes (I think)

I just had my Tahoe worked on at the dealership. They replaced the water pump and intake gasket, also replaced brake pads and rotors on the front. Prior to the work I was getting a small squeak and jerk upon full stop, and a pretty good bump from the rear upon release of brake. The repairs were made only a couple of weeks ago and the "sqeak and bump" have not changed. It behaves exactly as it did before repair. Any ideas what the problem might be?

I assume you have rear disc brakes?
Also what is the motor size?
4x4?

NO, NO REAR DISC BRAKES....ENGINE IS A 350

Take a look under the truck at the drum area on the inside. Is there any evidence of fluid leakage.

Sometimes it can get all the way out to the tires, and give a streaky look from the centrifical force of spinning.

gear oil or brake fluid leaking into the shoes will cause them to suck to the drum and cause an occassional lock up.

There may be hardware that has come free also, cuasing the shoes to contort funny. Either way the drums need to come of to get a good look.
