I have been noticing that my 96 Tahoe has a very high idle directly on start up (even when the engine is warm) and it gradually comes down in about 15 seconds. I noticed this shortly after having a remanufactured transmission installed. Is this an issue that I can correct myself. Could it be connected to the service done on the transmission. What controls the idle at start-up.
