It seems I dont have any reverse at all.
I have checked my transmission fluid and it is filled.
The park,nuetral,drive,1st,2nd and 3rd gears work fine, but when I put it in reverse, it doesn't respond at all.
It idles at 800 in park and neutral, and it jumps down to 700 or 750 in drive,which seems fine.
I do notice that when in park, and I shift it to reverse, I can see the rpms drop a bit, but it doesnt seem to shift.
I am not sure if it is a 4L80E or a 4L60E transmission. I do know its electronic.
Do you have any idea what it could be.
Also, does the chevy tahoe have locking hubs, I can't tell since mine are covered and my truck is jacked up to high for a jack, to get the tire off.
