Hi I am trying to get a clue as to what may be the problem here.

Was driving along and the vehicle just died, I assumed it was out of gas but after adding fuel the starter didn't work any longer either.
I have had the starter tested and it is fine.

Will the electronic engine control if acting up disable the starter motor circuit?

I have checked all fuses.
When I switrch the ignition switch to start position the dash lights seem to be doing their normal thing as well.

its possible the ignition switch is no good. checl for power into the ignition switch on the fat red wires and if that is good checkl for power on the yellow wire while cranking and if no power then replace ignition switch

Tim thanks,

I am hopeful you have given me the answer.

There is no No power to the yellow wire while in the cranking position.

I will change out the switch and let you know for sure after I have done so.

Thanks

Warren

Thanks again Tim,
I checked one red wire with heavy insulation. I will look and see if there are more, you did say red wires, pt wire.

If there isn't power there I will write again.
I want to be sure, because the switch is fairly pricey

Warren.
