We had a hummimg noise coming from the front of the vehicle that would whine down as you stopped. Believing it was the bearings going out, I replace both front wheel bearing hub assemblies. Now the noise is still there not sure where to go from here, but the bigger problem is now the ABS kicks in just before stopping which did not happen before. Is there a reset or what would cause this.

recheck your brake area, for an axle problem or something similar. you may have damaged one of the sensors of the abs when you replaced the hubs. It may be part of the hub that the 4 wheel drive is connected to making the noise and when you brake iti slocking up causing the abs to go off. You can alwasy scan the abs unit to see if there is a problem with that as well. There are no resets for the abs other than to eliminate the code and reset it for that.
