I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 V8. I live in northern New England and we have had quiet a bit of snow and ice this year. Recently the passenger side wiper has stopped working. The bar is now free moving (can slide up and down the glass when the car is parked). My wife drives the truck and I fear she has tried to use the wipers when they were frozen to the glass and broken something. Is this a common problem that can be easily fixed or is this a job I will have to take in for service? I am a novice at most repairs but can follow directions well and usually do things on my own. If it gets to technical or involves the use of a great deal of different tools, I usually bow out and let the pros handle it.
