My 2000 suburban began this loud banging this morning. I t seemed to be coming from the front wheel area, drivers side. It was especially violent when I turned the wheel during right hand turns and seemed to be almost pushing the car upwards. I took it in the the dealership and they said they could not get it to respond in forward but they could in reverse. They said it was the rear differential and would cost from 1000-to 3000 to repair the problem. I was feeling the problem in the front of the car, not the back so I am concerned that they don't know what they are talking about. They said that I could come down to the dealership and show the tech the problem. What should I do, take it somewhere else for a second opinion?
