1999 Chevy Suburban squeaking between engine and transmissi

I have a high pitch squeaking after the car runs long enough to warm up. I had a mechanic listen with a stethascope and all he determined was that the sound was somewhere between the tranny and engine. he mentioned the torque converter, flywheel and transmission as possibilities. The vehicle still squeaks in neutral so I dont think it is the torque converter and it only makes the noise once its hot so I dont think its the flywheel. It sounds like a bearing to be honest. mechanic said the noise is uncommon and doesnt make alot of sense in reguards to where it is coming from. please help, thanks

Hi there,

This is a problem that just has to be heard first hand, there are components in the torque converter that may be at fault,there may be a crack developing in the drive plate or loose converter bolts, all these will need checking, also the problem is that noise will travel and the noise may be generated somewhere else, but check out all around the torque converter first.

No, an oil pressure sender is just a pressure switch.
