HOW DO I KNOW MY LIFTERS ARE BAD BESIDES THEM TAPPING HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT LIFTERS ARE BAD WITHOUT CHANGIN THEM ALL.

Hi:
How bad is the ticking? The only way to identify which are making the noise is to remove the valve covers and check to see which ones are loose. They may be adjustable.
