A while ago someone rubbed the right side of truck backing up and dented rear quarter and bumped light. At time L & R brake lights did not work. I had a shop look at it and they got working again for a few months. Repair was cheap. I think they just found a short or short in bulb possibly from liquid.

However, now after truck has sat un-used for a couple months I have back on road but CHMSL, turn lights, hazards and brake L&R will not light up. If I push in the hazard button and hold it down I can get the flasher to work but don't know if back lights are actually working. But if I release into "on" position the flasher will not work either. Left and Right flasher not working.

I think it may be the clock-spring in the steering column but before I go replacing a few hundred dollar part in the truck I'd like to get a second opinion.

The clock spring is for steering wheel controls and the air bag, nothing below it. If the hazard button wont stay down, then start by replacing that. The brake lights and turn signals all use the same circuit, so if the switch is messed up, it could be keeping everything else from working properly
