I have a problem with black smoke coming out from the muffler. I have replaced the o 2 sensors four times, spark plugs and wires, two catlytic converters and a fuel filter. The truck will be running fine for a while with no smoke and after some time it does the same thing. Burns the o 2 sensor. Right now I have no codes showing but letting it run like this for a while I will burn a o 2 sensor. It runs rough with a mis fire. The problem is only on my right side when I get a code. I have taken it the dealership and to the mechanic and the only thing they replace is the o 2 sensor. It runs fine and then it starts all over again. I am out of remedies.

Hi there,

do a fuel rail static pressure test, you may have a leaking injector.
