1998 Chevy Suburban Part Identification

1998 Chevy Suburban 5.7 engine, I am trying to identify a part located on the driverside front nearest the radiator/driverside headlight. Had a family of possums that chewed on some plastic hosing connected to the part I'm trying to ID the part so I can replace.

Sounds like the vacuum canister area to me. If it's a plastic can looking thinger with a hose or 2 that should be coming from the top of it, then that's what it is. If it's damaged you'll be best off getting one from a used parts yard, or as I like to whisper junkyard. The same can and hoses will fit several vehicles, like a pickup with the same basic engine and accessories. Luck to ya. . .
