The p1345 code appeared and truck ran ok for approx 2000 miles then began intermittentally  misfiring and running rough. could cam or crank sensors cause this or are they just detecting a problem elsewhere like maybe worn timing chain or worn distributor gears? Anyone have any thoughts on where to start?

I would also replace the camshaft sensor as well, and make sure that the distributor is placed properly.
