I recently replaced my shocks my self on my suburban after putting on new tires. They were wat oast due to be replaced, been a 150,000 ago. But it seems like it is riding rougher or at least the same as before with exsessive bounceing on even the leastof good roads. Is it possible that I installed the shocks wrong? They are regular Monroe gas shocks that were reconmended by the auto parts store for trucks. Or is there something else I should check out?

A monroe shock may give a little softer/bouncier ride than say a KYB. It really depends on if they are gas charged or oil shocks and what they were designed to give, nice ride or performance ride. What kind did you take off it?
