Hi my truck has a starting problem, It stalled on my a few days ago I tried turning the ignition and a had a clicking noise as if the alternator was no good but I had changed 2 weeks ago, it would turn but it had a sound like it was not getting any fuel to the front of the vehicle. I turned the key to see if I could hear the fuel pump was working it was not, though I recently changed the pump. I had towed, bought a new pump and proceded to change the pump but I tested the old one and it worked, so I tested the new one and it worked also. So before I put the pump in I used a tester to check voltage reading going to the wire harness of the fuel pump and it had a reading of 9 - 10 volts. I put the pump into the fuel pump back in the tank and I tried starting it again truck still has the same problem. I just want to know if I should take it to a dealer which I know will cost alot of money or take it to a good mechanic. What should I do I am not sure what else I could check.
