I'm have a problem where if I turn on a number of electrical components (fans, lights, radio, etc.) the speedometer and RPM gauge will be pegged to the high end with the engine only running at about 2000 RPMs.
The battery gauge shows that the system is drawing heavily. Could this be the alternator? The headlights are illuminating normally and my battery doesn't seem to get run down.

Any help is appreciated!

did you check to see what your alternator is charging. also check and see if your battery cables are clean and tight.
