My local Chevy dealer's service department just handed me a bill for $1,001 for spark plug wires and a fuel pump (about evenly divided between parts & labor) for my 351 cubic inch 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 (50,000 miles). Is this outrageously over the top or am I crazy?

I know it sounds a lot but the fuel pump module it’s about $500
And u need to drop the gas tank to do it
I sorry to say but its justified
And I think they gave you a break
If I to price it throw my estimator it will be more than that
What not justified is the truck is 2002 and has 50000 miles on it way to soon for a wires and fuel pump replacement
