Vehicle is a 1988 Chevrolet Silverado rear wheel drive pickup.
I noticed Sunday last the smell of binding brakes.Got out and found that the rear driver rim was hot to touch.
The passenger rear rim was cool as a cucumber.
Drove straight to shop and left it overnight. Mechanic said he took off wheel Monday morning and could not locate anything unusual. He said drum came off very readily. He did not have to bang it with a hammer to get it off.
We are wondering what could cause this overheating on just the driver rear side?
