I am asking this question for my husband, so please bear with me. I believe he is asking about the axle seals (the first thing on the spindle?). I have a 2004 chevy silverado dually 3500 diesel. Approx 68,000 miles. Auto with a push button 4WD. He just replaced my brakes, and something is leaking in between the dually wheels on both sides. It smells and smokes when the truck is driven. Front brakes are a bit squeeky, but dont think it is related. I have brake pressure. My husband wants to know how to replace these seals/plugs. THANK YOU
