MAF sensor

I have never heard of a MAF having an effect on the A/C.They are 2 different systems. I would try it again just for laughs, if A/C still doesnt work, call the tech line of the company who makes the MAF and hit them up on it, doesnt make any sense to me at all

Is it 1500/2500/3500? their road maps in circuits are entirely different is it a Hybrid model.


Try disconnecting the MAF sensor when engine fires up feather it and keep it running while you turn the AC ON. Is it coming On.

I've spent nearly 45mins to tie this 2 together and they got nothing in common. Did you disconnect the battery by any chance?

One thing for sure it has a lot of sophisticated electronics. And its giving me bananas trying to find it. I know its not your problem,am giving it all I got.

Airflow going thru the engine has nothing to do with the AC-Am begining to think that IAT on the Alowmeter is tied in with the AC temperature devices I hope not-never heard of such thing.

Maybe it needs a computer relearning or reflash to get its programmed signal- The compressor is controlled by the PCM-and I really don't know how the MAF is tied in with the AC to be causing the problem

This is what I found out, but I'm not sure of its accuracy. Sometimes when the battery is unhooked the AC will go out. If you disconnect the battery for a minute and then reconnect it, the computer will reset and give you back your AC
