ecm s are not hard to change, it is located under the dash on the passengers side. it is held in with two screws. Try first to reset the computer. Disconnect the negative side of the battery. Leave it off for about 10 minutes. Reconnect it. The computer will not reset itself right away and will have to be driven for about 50 miles to completly reset. A new computer is expensive, you can try to get one out of a junk yard, but there is no garantee it will work, as they say buyer beware.
