chevy silverado, 2000, 57000, 5.3L I put an alternator and battery in last year. during longer drives,1+ hour, and usually under load, the batt light comes on and stays on for 10 to 30 seconds then goes off. Volt meter shows no change. The alternator is an exact replacement.
