I have 94 silverado, 1500, V6. Replaced alternator - was bad-bearing noise and battery indicator was 8 amp. Charged battery, befor installing alternator. Two days later, battery indicated spikes and headlights, instrument, dome lights flickered. Replaced battery with new one. Same issue with lights flickering and battery indicating spikes. Both alternator and battery test within the range. Could it be an intermettent problem with the voltage regulator in the alternator? Under load from headlights on and heater fan on, really spikes bad on the battery indicator.
