Is the steering working properly now? Have you checked to see if there is a vacuum leak to the booster?

No. Both power steering and power brakes not working properly - hard to operate. Traced and checked all hoses no sign of leaks and both reservoirs have no fluid loss. Fan belt and pulleys are good. Possible power steering pump failure?

Have you figured out this problem yet? I am having the same problem on mine. It is VERY hard to turn left; as if the power steering is out. No problems turning right.

Removed Fan belt and took a light pull out on P.S. pulley - Bingo!!! the pulley and drive shaft came out. The shaft was sheered inside the housing and the trouble couldn't been seen outside. The hydro brake booster and steering works in a loop and had no power source flow thru to operate. My advice... install the new pump in before you press pulley back on cuz there's 3 - 18mm head bolts. A worm drive press was small enough to do inside. I bought it at Checker's $30. Thanks to all out who helped! A happy fisherman is back on the lake!!!!

Couple corrections to make. Year is actually 2004 got mix up w/ other truck. Those 3 bolts are 15mm instead of 18mm.
