2005 Chevy Silverado no or low engine oil pressure

this morning i was driving my truck to work it an 05 chevy with a duramax 6.6l deisel the engine oil pressure went to zero nd the lights came on it usually has low pressure but never falls to zero at idle and it usually returns to normal pressure at driving speeds
