hi there i have a 2005 sliverado ive been having a lot of trouble with my resistor wiring since it burned out on me once my truck as digital controls that use a 3 plug wiring for the resistor. i replaced the wiring and the resistor 3 times . the wires i get from the dealer now are very small gauge wires such as 18 gauge and the power and ground wires on my truck are 10 gauge wires the wires keep burning from when they are hooked onto the 10 gauge stock truck wires until it burns out my whole plug in no one cant seem to find the reason for it and the part number they keep giving me is 1212-6486 it seems to me the wires on this part are to small for the voltage coming out of the stock wiring
