2004 Chevy Silverado Running Hot???

Temp. went up. Coolant level was low, added coolant. Temp level was fine but had to add more coolant. No leakes anywhere. Top hose not hard . Heater is blowing heat. Help!!!!!

Might want to replace the thermostat could be sticking if there's no leak, radiator not clogged and water pump doing its job

depending how hot it was and how far it ran i would check around the intake to see if you have a small leak from the gasket and also check the heater hose assembly as they tend to have some problems leaking. make sure to check while the vehicle is running so there is some pressure and use a flashlight to see the whole area.
