Door locks not working - driver unknown message came up

I got out of my truck and all of a sudden, the remote switch would not lock or unlock the doors. When the key was turned to the on position, the message that came up was driver unknown and my truck would start and then shut straight off. Can you help me.

Yes, this happens when the driver side door module goes out which is common. Here is a diagram on how to replace it. I would try a used one a new one you will need to have programmed it should cost about $130.00 to have done at a shop.
