Do you have a printout of the alignment? It is proper to inspect the steering and suspension components before performing an alignment. Any loose parts should have been replaced. They could cause steering wander.

Did the wander start after the alignment or was the alignment done in response to the wander? Caster is one alignment angle that has little affect on tire wear but if it is too low, can reduce road feel and increase wander. If no other cause of the wander can be found, increasing caster a couple of degrees is a good place to start.
