2001 Chevy Silverado Headlight Dim

Intermittently, when I left off the gas, I notice the headlights dim for about a second then go back to normal. Can't seem to reproduce problem in the driveway to troubleshoot.

If your battery is over 4 years old, I'd say replace that first. It's possible that it went bad. If that doesn't do it, I'd say it's your alternator, which also has a voltage regulator inside it. If you replaced a good 4+ year old battery, you would have to replace it soon anyway. It that doesn't fix it, then you've got a real problem, but at least you have eliminated the two most obvious causes.
