Air Conditioning problem
2001 Chevy Silverado Two Wheel Drive Automatic 93000 miles

I have noticed that the ac in my 2500 hd duramax, blows cold sometime and warm most the time.I put a portable therometer in the ac vent to read the temp. The ac gets down to about 69- 70.I have had the freon checked twice. Both times the freon level was right. The unit has a recirculating button, vent, and ac button.Three fan speeds and temp control switch. You can turn the temp switch from cold to hot.I have noticed the recirculating button light will not go off.The only way it will go off is when vent button is on,or ac is off.I have noticed that the unit blows a slight fog sometimes.
Thank you Delbert

I have a 2004 chevy silverado that was blowing fog from vents. if you are smelling antifreeze thru vents then it'sour heater core leaking. dealers charge 12 man hours at 90 dollars per hr for labor plus another about 300 for part
