Transmission problem

Hi,
I am having a problem with my truck. When I reach 55 mph its sounds like im reving the engine and it acts like it dont want to go any faster. My transmission light came on and stated it was hot so i pulled over and shut the truck off. When was able to start it again I took it to auto zone and they told me that a p8770 code was popping up. What is this code? What im I facing?
