I have a 2000 Chev Silverado Z-71 5.3 with 170K. original owner. Recently lost reverse, 2nd,and overdrive after loud violent noise. my mechanic replaced sun shell and torque converter. everything worked fine except won't shift to overdrive. Tech II shows everything good. No codes.(Before or after repair) . He then removed valve body to bench for thorough inspect and cleaning. appears fine. Became frustrated. Replaced all selenoids. Still no difference.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
