2000 Chevy Silverado Passenger door lock and window not wor

I have an electrical problem with my passenger door. The power window doesn't work from either switch (drivers and passenger). The lock switch on the passenger side does lock and unlock the driver side door. I believe there is an issue with a connector not allowing enough amps to be drawn to allow the power lock and window to operate on the passenger side door. When I press the lock and unlock multiple times (on the passenger side door) it will eventually stop locking and unlocking the drivers side door (it will just make noise but not have enough current to fire the solenoid), if I let it sit for a couple seconds and try again, it starts working. I tried pulling connectors in the door itself, fuses in the panel but to no avail.

Have you checked to see if there is power to the switch and the motor on the passanger side? As far as the lock, it could be the switch itself. You need to check how much voltage is provided to the lock solenoid.

I haven't pulled out the volt meter yet. I will try to do this Monday afternoon. The lock did stop working before the power window so you may be on to something. I do find it odd that when you press the lock/unlock switch on the passenger door that over a short period of time (6 to 10 flips of the switch) the voltage appears to drop and it just causes the driver side door lock to just click and not toggle between locked and unlocked, and if I wait for five seconds and try again, it recharges itself and start working again for a couple more flips of the switch...

Something tells me the switch is going bad.

ive been messing with my switches alot here lately and what ive learned is..theres 4 thick wire that plug under the side mirror controls. 1 is orange and needs to be hot at all times black is of coarse the ground and the blue and brown go to the drivers side window motor..they show to have continuity. bouth grounds when going down and positive when going up or could be vice versa. and theres also a thin orange wire coming from the harness that plugs into the drivers side.. side dash fuse box that needs to be hot at all times. sorry if im not much of a help but these wires would be a good place to start testing

Yes that is a good place to start. Are you getting 12 volts from the power supply?

It appears to be a motor (power window) and solenoid (power locks) issue with the door. I did confirm +/-12V for both connections.

Sorry about the delayed response. I lost my father this week and can only say I have been very busy and now very down.

Make sure you are getting power to each component before replacing them.
