Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Silverado K2500, 6 liter, 4 Wheel Drive Automatic 111000 miles
Second winter, same problem. Below 40 F, alternator start is delayed. With cold start @ 35 F, alternator charges after about 1 minute. Cold start below 30 degrees F, no charge till engine warm, system voltage is < 11 until engine temp > 160 F. Warm starts in cold weather get charging >14 volts in < 5 seconds. Alternator has been replaced since problem started. No problem in warm Texas weather.
