I KNOW THE OIL PUMP NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. MY QUESTION IS WHEN REPLACING OIL PUMP ,I SHOULD CHANGE THE MAIN BEARINGS ALSO, CORRECT.

I'VE BEEN PULLING A 7X14 INCLOSED TRAILER ALL OVER THE U.S.. MY ENGINE IS A 5.3 V8. I JUST HAD THE TRANNY REBULT,ALSO. IS THIS ENGINE TO SMALL TO PULL THE LOAD OR IS IT THE ENGINE NEEDS A TOTAL REBUILD.

chec, the bearings and see. while your there you can replace them. wouldnt hurt anythign!

that engine has plenty of power for pulling that trailer around.
