Under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, near fuel tank, mounted on frame rail in fuel line. This guide should help with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your truck.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

driverside frame rail, Threaded fitting on both ends, need a couple of wrenches. As far as pressure, after the vehicle sits overnight without the key being cycled or engine started, there usually isn't much pressure. A fuel pressure gage has a bleedoff valve on it, bleed into a container, or make sure the pump is disconnected, start the the vehicle, when it dies the pressure should be gone. That doesn't mean gas won't drain from the lines, take gas cap off. Sometimes I'll plug the gas lines with something till ready to go back with new filter. If you use a droplite don't lay it where gas might drip on it.

I suppose you can cut the fuel lines and bypass the fuel filter, but by that time you could have just changed the fuel filter. If you are getting no fuel to the injecters and the fuel filter is blocked bad enough to not start the engine, then have your fuel pump properly tested for any weakness -- both pressure wise and electricaly. Many mechanics have no clue about how to test for the electrical strength of a fuel pump, so take it to an ASE certified mechanic.

It's a pretty straight forward job. If the threads are rusted in, then your going to have a problem.
Make sure you use good quality wrenches and use a tubing wrench on the line nut. If it won't come apart, then your going to get into cutting and replacing lines.
