8 months ago the motor began making a noise. Can't quite firgure out what it is. Sounds like a cross between squealing belt and a whistling air leak. Replaced broken exhaust manifold bolts but didn't seem to help. Sounds like it could be comming from in or around the water pump but can't tell for sure. No service vehicle soon or other warning lights are on. Truck seems to run pretty good. Noise is more apparent during acceleration and while driving. Some times the noise will stop when the truck is turned off and restarted. Frustrating and kind of embarassing. Got any suggestions?

Maybe a bad belt? Remove belt/s, turn accessory pulleys by hand, see if you hear or feel anything?
