Transmission problem
1998 Chevy Silverado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 121000 miles

No glassses on and accidentally put 5 oz of fuel injector cleaner in trans dip stick. Told by dealership 5oz should not hurt the trans. Still recommended flush trans for $169.00. what do you think?

Hi there,

The problem is that i feel that the seals of the transmission may not be compatible with the active ingredients of the fuel system cleaner, i would do the trans flush to be safe.
