1998 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 137 K miles

Could it be caused by a faulty gas cap??

NO, p0141= 02 sensor heater circuit bank one sensor two, p0161= same on bank two, these are the sensors after the converters. chech the wiring, it may have been contaminated with oil, or rubbed insulation off somewhere.
