I HAVE THE DISTRIBUTOR OUT AND TRYING TO REPLACE IT CAINT GET THE GEARS AND THE OIL PUMP TO ALINE. IF THE OIL PUMP SLOT LINES UP ITS ABOUT 2 CYL OFF. IF ROTOR LINES UP IT WILL NOT SET IN OIL SLOT. THANKS FOR ANY HELP SAM

If you forgot to mark the distributor before you removed it-Do this put engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and retry-
