1996 Chevy Silverado Front End Problems

I was recently informed that I needed new inner tie rod ends plus idler arm and pitman arm. The idler and pitman were changed about seven months ago. Upon my inspection, I found that the driver side inner tie rod was loose, the nut was about to come off. I still have some play in the idler arm. It appears that the bushing is not compressed enough. My question is can I dismount the idler from the frame and tighted the bushing nut. there is only about 1/2 inch clearnace under the stud and hadly no way to force the arm further on the idler arm.
