Suspension problem 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles

My truck's ignitiion lock locked up on me with the key in and the engine on and I am unable to turn it to the OFF position at all. Had to shut it off by disconnecting the batteries. Anyway, I have a replacement cylinder, I have pulled the steering wheel off, taken off the first ring (iff you will) that is held in place by two small screws with a torx head. Now I am stuck. I can not seem to figure out how to proceed from here. Hand an all help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

BTW - I doubt this matters but this is a 6.5 turbo diesel.

Hello

First off, is this vehicle equipped with tilt or standard steering column? Also, is it floor or column shift?

Sorry for the delay. Here is the information needed to replace your vehicle's ignition lock cylinder. Do not have to remove steering column from vehicle
